TTT: Bookish Professions

This week’s Top Ten is Bookish Characters (these could be readers, writers, authors, librarians, professors, etc.)

I recognize that my inclusion of Caroline Merit is a little off the mark, since she is a vampire, and Sentinel of her Vampire House. But, she was a grad student when she was turned, and to this day, whenever there is a mystery to solve, her first instinct is to start in a library.

Plus, it gives me a reason to show off this dead sexy Chicagoland Vampires shirt that I ordered today!

Frat boy not included

So, here are my ten….err…nine? Nine plus a nerdy vampire:

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

  1. The first one that comes to mind for me is
    * Irene from the Invisible Library series. [Librarian — sort of]

    But then there’s:
    * Aziraphale from Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch [Bookseller :D]
    * Audrey Camherst from Turning Darkness Into Light (The Memoirs of Lady Trent #6) [decipherer of an ancient language]

However I’m not sure I could some up with more than that for favorite characters with bookish professions. (But I’m sure someone will mention one that’ll have my slapping myself wondering how I could have forgotten them)
