So, this is something different.
I usually answer the Let’s Talk Bookish question in this space, but I HATED this week’s topic, so I went looking for something fun. I found “F” Is For Friday, hosted at Nomadic Worlds and it seemed like a lovely little amuse bouche. I am not sure that it’s something I’ll do every week, but it’s nice to have in my back pocket for when LTB just doesn’t speak to me.
“F” Is For Friday is easy. You FEATURE your latest book obsession, INDICATE what you are looking forward to reading this weekend, share your FAVORITE recent quote, and finally, FIVE things you are grateful for this week.
Honestly, I’m really bad at gratitude exercises, so this might be just the sort of thing I should do more of.
Anyway, here are my answers for this week:

What a fun post. And I’m moving The Seven Husbands up on my TBR!

I just skip some LTB topics too. Next week is some kind of the same.

Yeah, this one just felt…dark. I get that some tropes are problematic, but I wasn’t in a headspace to write something so…bleak. 🤷🏻♀️

Evelyn Hugo is still haunting my brain two years later–I loved it! I’m also enjoying Wordle lately. Great post 🙂

So you are saying there’s no hope? That she lives in my brain now? Cool, cool. 😎

😂 unfortunately, yes! She lives there now. She will pay no rent and you’ll somehow wind up thanking her for it. 😂

This is such a fun post! Evelyn Hugo is one of my all-time favourites so I definitely get your feelings for that book. That quote from Anthropocene Reviewed is interesting and I’ve got that on my TBR so I’m looking forward to reading it more now 🙂
