This week’s topic is Ten Books on My Winter 2022 To-Read List. I’ve been blowing through my hold limits at the library with all of these. The one I’m MOST excited about? That would be number one, The Match by Harlan Coben. I wasn’t sure that we would get a sequel to The Boy from the Woods, and wow—I really wanted one. So that one is already on hold at four or five places, you know, just in case one of them comes in faster.
I know. I’m a dork.
Anyway, in addition to The Match, here are nine others that I just can’t wait for.
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Great covers. Hope you get them soon!

Great list and I love your graphics 😍 I’m really excited to read The Ivory Key as well and While the Sun Shine is going straight on my TBR Wishlist! I love a good friends-to-lovers romance and even though I’m not a big fan of angst, I do enjoy the years-long pining, haha! I hope you enjoy all these reads!

Did you read Cattle Stop? It’s the one set before When The Sun Shines? It was fantastic, too. 🙂

Happy TTT!

I have spent the last year reading primarily romances, and I think that my brain now is feeling like something grittier. I read 90% mystery/thrillers for 30 years, and I miss them! But, yes—Weather Girl looks ADORABLE. 🙂

I can understand that. I hope you enjoy the grittier reads!

I hope you love them all! I’m aways out of holds at the library. I blame the library for having such giant wait lists!

I have sixteen library cards to combat this problem.
I know. I know.😆

I’m definitely trying to get my hands on Weather Girl and The Ivory Key ASAP too! And your library has hold limits? I don’t think mine does!

I have sixteen library cards, so I don’t usually actually run out…but yes, most of them limit me to ten holds. I wonder if it’s because they are e-books?

Ahhh, my current library doesn’t limit the number of physical books I can request, but I can only have 5 holds for ebooks or audiobooks at a time. But sixteen library cards? Whoa!

Your library holds game reminds me of me and how I have several different library cards and apps just in case one library doesn’t have a book, another might. Yes, we are dorks, but we are tenacious. Hope you enjoy all these!

We are tenacious dorks! I have…um…sixteen library cards? It’s kind of the definition of insanity. But good, book-insanity.

Yeah, I don’t usually have a lot of books that I am just…pining for. I’m a very emotional reader, so there are very few books that I plan for months in advance. But this one? Yeah, I’d forgo dinner with Rafael Nadal to read this one. 🤩

While the Sun Shines is a direct sequel to Cattle Stop…it focuses on different characters, so you don’t have to read the other one first, but it’s was really good, so… 😍
Harlan does two things. He writes one of my favorite series, the Myron Bolitar mysteries, featuring a sports agent and his sociopathic bestie who solve crimes. It’s funny, and a little dark, and I love it. But I think that he really shines with his standalone thrillers, which always put very ordinary people in very non-normal situations, and then lets us watch while they try to figure out how to get out of it. I think he’s brilliant. I especially loved Just One Look an The Boy From the Woods.
Happy Wednesday!
