BBH: Favorite thing about the book blogging community

As I have said before, this is probably my seventh or eighth blog over the last twenty+ years, and the only one that didn’t feel like drudgery. This is largely because the community is so welcoming and supportive. It’s really everything you would expect from a bunch of readers and more.

The best part, though, is just finding my people, the ones who want to talk about BOOKS all the time, the ones who don’t try to change the subject, or whose eyes glaze over when you want to talk about the new vampire series, or the new Gamache book, or the ones you want to rant at about publishers and their predatory pricing practices.

Finding your people can not be overrated. ❤️

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book-related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog

  1. Oh, I know those people well – the ones whose eyes glaze over until they notice you noticing and then come out with gems like, “I’ve never been much of a reader.” or “I want to read more, but I just don’t have the time.” 🤨 I agree with you about the book blogger community – it is awesome 🥰
