TTT: Favorite Book Quotes

This is a free week, so I perused the TTT archives, and chose this one, cause I’m a sucker for book quotes. One of these I kind of want to get tattooed on my arm, actually.

  3. I read Love Story last year at the insistence of a colleague and thought it heartbreaking but oof, that quote from Oliver’s Story sounds like it’d be even more heartbreaking! 😭 Loved the quotes from Cerulean Sea and Truly Devious!

    1. I read Love Story in a Reader’s Digest Condensed edition when I was 10 or 11. NOt sure how that scarred me, but I will say that I was glad to have read the book when I finally watched the movie. *sob*.

      Come to think of it, I might never have read the unabridged version. Huh. Might have to look into that.

      But yes, that quote of Oliver’s has stuck with me for probably thirty years. I didn’t really even have to look it up. 😭
